1955

Akın Tekstil was founded by our founder Rüştü Akın.

1977

Akın Group Companies were consolidated under the umbrella of Akın Holding.

1984

The Holding’s first international establishment, Edpa USA, was founded in the Empire State Building at New York.

1986

Tekstil Bank was established.

1992

The Euro Textile Bank commenced operations in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

1993

Edip İplik factory began production.

1997

Mig Architecture completed its first construction project in Türkbükü, Bodrum.

2000

Akın Factoring was established.

2001

Tekstil Bank was sold to GSD Holding.

2009

Following the closure of Edip İplik factory, the 212 Outlet Shopping Mall was inaugurated.

2013

Entry into the pharmaceutical sector was achieved through Kentfarma.

2015

Tekstil Bank was sold to ICBC Bank, while Akın Holding continues its partnership with ICBC Securities.

2019

After merging with Mig Architecture, Akın İnşaat(construstion) delivered its first project, Offis 16.

2020

Akın Energy commissioned its first Renewable Energy Plant in İzmir.

2021

Akın Holding continues its journey with a renewed corporate identity and logo.

2022

The shares of Akın Tekstil sold to RA Capital and Holding exits the textile sector.

2023

Akın Agro was established to invest in the agricultural sector.

2024

Akın Energy commissioned its first Solar Power Plant in İzmir.

2025

The Holding exits the pharmaceutical sector by transferring Kentfarma shares to Haver Farma.
