Edpa Kimya was founded in March 1990 to import and distribute dyes for the growing Turkish Textile Industry. The Company’s main shareholders are; Akın Holding, Feza Holding, Hüseyin Koç, İbrahim Çelebi and Hasan E. Esen. The remaining shares of the Company are owned by the members of the Akın Family and other private individuals. Initially Edpa Kimya imported reactive cotton dyes from Oh-Young Industrial Co. Ltd. of Korea. Later, it extended its product range through agency agreements with the T&T Industries Corporation (Taiwan) for basic dyes; Chika Overseas Pvt. Ltd. (India) for reactive cotton dyes; and Sinochem Liaoning Import-Export Corporation (China) for basic dyes. Today, Edpa Kimya is one of the leading textile dye importers in Turkey from South East Asia Region with a great variety of products for Textile Industry.
